National Letter Carriers Food Drive Saturday

Thursday, May 8th, 2008

Participate in the National Association of Letter Carriers Food Drive on Saturday, May 10, and help raise one million pounds of food to fight hunger. Look for a yellow plastic food drive bag in your mail this week. Fill the bad with nutritious, nonperishable food and place it by your mailbox early on Saturday. Letter carriers will collect the bags and take them to their local post office to be transferred to regional food banks with the Oregon Food Bank Network. All donated food stays in the community where
it was collected.
