Crime Report March 10 - 21, 2008
3/10/08 Drum Set Stolen From High School A drum set was reported stolen from the Band Room sometime between march 8 and March 10. Entry was made through the north door of the room, located closest to the exit from the building. There were no signs of forced entry. No suspects were identified.
3/12/08 Upset Victim of Tire Slashing An officer responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on SW Chantilly . The office spoke with the complaintant who was upset because during the evening of the 12th someone slashed 1 tire on each of his two vehicles. He suspected who had committed the act, but had no proof.
3/13/08 Just Took The Tailgate An employee of Xerox reported the tailgate of his truck was stolen while he was parked in the Xerox parking lot while he worked. Security was aware of the theft and is reviewing a videotape for possible leads.
3/14/08 Donation Jar Stolen A student at Wilsonville High School reported the theft of a donation jar with approximately $60 for Dornbecher Hospital.
3/17/08 Just Missed Theft in Progress Two officers were dispatched to a theft in progress at 29499 SW Meadows Loop. The victim witnessed the theft as it occurred but did not see the face of the thief. The suspect was described as wearing a gray or camoflage sweatshirt and had a skinny build. He felt the suspect was a teenager Both locks were damaged on the vehicle, and nothing was discovered missing. The officers checked out the immediate vicinity and did not locate the suspect.
3/21/08 Vehicle Break-in at Bridge Creek Apartments Officers received a report of a break in to a 1999 Honda Civic while the vehicle was parked in front of his apartment at Bridge Creek Apartments After entering the vehicle the suspect forcibly removed the secion of the dash board that contains the car stereo and stole the section of dash and the pioneer stereo.
