Wood Middle School Need Volunteers for Event
The Wood Middle School Black and White Night is fast approaching and volunteers for this event are needed. This is an “all grades” event whose purpose is to draw the student body together to celebrate diversity and tolerance within the school and the greater community at large. The students come together for a fun evening, while achieving a sense of community service. In past years this event has raised over $2,500, which has been donated to the Oregon Food Bank, the American Red Cross Tsunami Fund and the Northwest Medical Team’s Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund. The Black and White Night occurs February 1st.2008. If you’d like to get involved or maybe get a little more information please contact Mary Welsh at
6to8woodvolunteers@gmail.com to the January PTSA meeting. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
