Beaverton-Wilsonville Commuter Train Gets Name

A name has been chosen for the new commuter rail in Washington County.  The public is invited to attend the unveiling:

Beaverton Transit Center
4050 SW Lombard, Beaverton
Monday, November 19, 2007
10-10:30 a.m.

Beverages and light refreshments will be served. Parking is limited. Please use transit or carpool if possible. Plan your trip online.

When the line opens in fall 2008, self-propelled diesel trains will carry passengers 14.7 miles between Beaverton, Tigard, Tualatin and Wilsonville. It will be Oregon’s first commuter rail line.
